Avtotor says starts producing cars of Chinese brand SWM

MOSCOW, Apr 14 (PRIME) -- Russian car producer Avtotor has started producing cars under the Chinese brand SWM under an agreement with Shineray, the company said in a statement on Friday.

"Kaliningrad's car maker Avtotor is starting cooperation with Chinese company Shineray in the framework of establishment of high-tech manufacturing of cars under the brand SWM and attraction of producers of Russia-made components," Avtotor said.

The plant will manufacture mid-sized crossovers SWM G01, city crossovers SWM G01F and full-sized crossovers SWM G05Pro.

Avtotor can raise the output by extending the capacities. A full-cycle production canm also be launched. Avtotor and Shineray plan to elaborate a production plan with investment estimates until 2032 in the future.
